Security Officer Refresher Course is a 1-day training program required by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to renew a Security Officer licence, and it became a legal requirement for licence renewals from April 1, 2025. The course covers essential updates for modern security roles, including SIA legislation and industry regulations, terror threat awareness and risk reduction, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, effective search techniques, incident response and reporting procedures and health & safety and emergency protocols.
